Summary

Although the forest were not as nice as the last Kettle Moraine, we still had a great time. We didn't get lost on Friday night this time, but that is because we set up tents our own tents instead of looking for a shelter. Al's group did a nice pace hiking on Saturday, while Pankuch's group took it easy. I mean come on, you have just ate lunch, the sun is out, you hear the birds singing...who wouldn't want to take a nap! Caitlin and Mary Kate went for a run on Saturday night, and Sandi went on her own little adventure. The guys stayed around and got wood for a fire. All the groups made Quesadillas, but Ben and Chris' were by far the best (Voted by Al and Dave). Chris wanted some help from the girls with dishes on Saturday night, but when you tell the girls that all they do is cook and clean, well you don't get that much help. We also got a little fire work show on Saturday night, but poor Sam missed it. On Sunday, we kicked it up another notch. We hiked much faster, but that didn't stop Sam and Casey from still being goofy (Peggy and the three penguins). Along the way that day too, Casey became the first member of the class to go out and take a dump in the woods. Besides for all the goofyiess, Pankuch's group went at a normal pace on Sunday, but Al's group went into high gear baby, and made record time in doing so. We realized though, that hiking is not as fun when you got a slave driver behind you saying, "FASTER, FASTER, OR WE'LL BE LATE!" We also figured out that if you rush, you might forget to do something important. That happened to Ben. We left so fast that he forgot to go to the bathroom, but he made do with what he had. He filled three Taco Bell cups full of Mountain Dew!
